OpenEDG Attend The 51st FACTE Conference in Orlando, Florida
The 51st FACTE (Florida Association for Career & Technical Education) Conference & Trade Show took place from July 16th to 19th in Orlando, Florida, and OpenEDG was there for the entire event.
The FACTE conference reunites all the CTE faculty, teachers, staff, principals and directors in the state of Florida. Our purpose at the conference was to engage schools and districts in the region so they can adopt our programs and certifications. While there, we also learned a lot more about how FACTE operates in the state and about their operation rules for the upcoming year.
This will better prepare us to tailor our products to the Florida educational sector and ensure that we consistently deliver the highest quality certifications.
We had a stand (booth) where we spoke to different schools and districts about our programs, we gave a presentation to districts interested in our programs and we spoke to education authorities in the state.
Our hope is that this will lead to a greater presence of our programs and certifications within school districts and colleges in the state of Florida along with new partnerships in the region.
