OpenEDG Python Institute is happy to announce the new, updated version of the PCAP – Certified Associate in Python Programming certification exam – PCAP-31-03. The exam is available through the network of 5,000 Pearson VUE Testing Centers worldwide, as well as the OnVUE Online Proctoring system from Pearson VUE.
The exam syllabus has been aligned with the Python Essentials Part 2 course (PE2) and is available at https://pythoninstitute.org/certification/pcap-certification-associate/pcap-exam-syllabus/.
The new exam version covers the following sections: Modules and Packages (12%), Exceptions (14%), Strings (18%), Object-Oriented Programming (34%), and Miscellaneous (List comprehensions, lambdas, closures, and I/O operations) (22%).
The PCAP-31-02 exam will be retired on January 1, 2021. PCAP-31-02 exam registrations will be closed on December 1, 2020.
